Nestled within a beautiful 100-year-old traditional house, Dot Hostel Nagano offers a charming escape that captures the essence of local life in Nagano. Having recently visited with my partner, we were thrilled by the warm hospitality displayed by Nao, the owner, who ensured our stay was comfortable and homely—it truly felt like living among friends. The location is fantastic, being just a short stroll from the iconic Zenko-ji Temple, making it perfect for both cultural exploration and leisurely strolls through the surrounding area. The hostel's amenities, including a well-equipped kitchen and delightful communal spaces, allowed us to prepare hearty meals while soaking in the ambiance of Japanese tradition. Our room, complete with cozy bunk beds and individual curtains for privacy, provided a good night's sleep after long days of exploration. For those seeking adventure, the option to rent bicycles was an exciting way to discover the stunning natural beauty of Myoko-Togakushi Renzan National Park. With strong Wi-Fi and laundry facilities available, we easily balanced relaxation with our trekking pursuits. Dot Hostel Nagano embodies both comfort and community;
